It was Grandma Rosie’s recipes that were first used to create the authentic Mexican-style taste that is now an El Monterey® family tradition. Today, our Mexican Grill Charbroiled Chicken Taquito recipe brings this tradition to you with the most flavorful culinary flare.
We take tender charbroiled chicken breast, real Monterey Jack cheese, our rich tomato sauce, the most robust of Mexican-style ingredients and roll it all up into a crisp flour tortilla!

BAKE OR AIR FRY FOR CRISPIER TEXTURE
MICROWAVE OVEN
(1,100 watt microwave)
Setting: HIGH
Place taquitos on a microwave safe plate.
FROZEN:
2 TAQUITOS: 1 MINUTE
4 TAQUITOS: 2 MINUTES
Carefully remove taquitos from microwave. Let stand for 30 seconds before eating.
OVEN
Preheat oven to 400°F
(Do not exceed recommended temperature.)
Place frozen taquitos 1″ apart on baking sheet with low sides.
If baking more than 10 taquitos, split amount between two baking sheets.
Place baking sheet(s), uncovered, in center of oven.
FROZEN: 13 MINUTES
Carefully remove taquitos from oven.
Let stand for 1 minute before eating.
AIR FRYER
350°F
Place 4 taquitos in air fryer basket. Place basket into air fryer.
FROZEN: 8 MINUTES
Let stand for 1 minute before eating.
For food safety and quality, internal product temperature must reach 165°F. Since ovens vary, cooking times may require adjusting. *Caution: product may be hot.
